In electricity generation China is still growing, while the others have plateaued.

Everybody’s carbon intensity is going down.

So, as an upshot, CO2 emissions per capita is a mixed bag. China was growing still recently because its actual energy usage was growing. (Trend has recently turned down since they built so much non-CO2 energy).

and if you look at the total per each area, China jumped out even more because it’s bigger. Hopefully now plateaued.
